Floor Amendments to Board Bills
In the Board Meeting on February 4, 2025, Alderwoman Schweitzer successfully introduced a floor substitute to Alderwoman Sonnier's Rams settlement bill (BB #153), which reduced the scope of the legislation to only establish a $40,000,000 fund for Citywide water infrastructure.
This version of the Board Bill is attached below.
Ultimately, the sponsor of each Rams board bill opted to place their bills on the informal calendar to allow more time for discussion. While a resolution could still be reached this session—if it appears that consensus has been reached and if the President calls special meetings—it is likely that the final decision will wait until the next session begins in April.
