Make golf carts get a license the same as automobiles. They take up space, and they use the roads

Ruth Ann Edwards•10 months ago As I said, the golf carts use the roads, they take parking places on the streets, and on the lots, frequently very young kids are driving them, they cut in and out of traffic, and are very much free to do whatever they want.

Freeze real estate taxes for senior citizens

Ruth Ann Edwards•3 years ago Freeze real estate taxes for senior citizens who make less than $75,000 dollars per year. Between the real estate taxes, the personal property taxes, the increased water bills and the increased sewer bills, I fully expect that I will lose my home in the next five years. The assistance that is in place requires such a low income that I would have to be unemployed and living on the streets to qualify. Stop giving money to people who are too lazy to find a job, and help those of us who are desperately trying to pay our way.
