Adrien Suydam3 years ago While I don’t beleive I need to thoroughly describe the line in itself, the North South line would be a street running light rail system running mainly on Jefferson Ave. The system would bring benefit to areas with common and persistent poverty, those in poverty need to save money and get to their jobs efficiently. With the addition of a metrolink line in their neighborhood residents can easily save money on gas and motor repairs given the option to drive less. The system would greatly boost the economy of Jefferson Avenue and areas surrounding it with high ridership the shops and areas near stations would see a surge in pedestrians and consumers. The surge would dramatically boost economies and the tax money generated to be used to better our city.
