Trash clean up

We need trash cans on every corner in the Downtown Area. They were there in 2014 but set on fire during demonstrations. We have been asking for this to return. Every Corner for trash pick up. We need a Clean campaign. Downtown needs to attract new business. I have a business and we walk and pick up the trash. We need the trash cans.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Europe has mini street sweepers that vacuum trash and power wash sidewalks. Would love to see an investment in something similar. We could get a lot more accomplished versus humans doing this on foot.

I like the idea of hiring and paying high school students to help with litter/trash pickup and also giving them college credits for organizing and completing community trash cleanup projects in their communities. If young people are employed and credited in this manner it gives them pride and and investment in their communities!
