This is an opportunity to secure the funding needed for so many projects.

I very much appreciate the work put into these proposals to define and regulate the data center industry. The city of St. Louis has so many serious financial needs. Needs for which I do not believe we have enough resources. This is an opportunity to not only generate much needed revenue, but to take a chance at investing in the regeneration of our city and the region as a whole. Who of us would not like to see our city become one of the fastest growing or most desirable? Any opportunity to help Saint Louis regain even a portion of the status and prestige it had just over 100 years ago (relatively speaking) is an opportunity worth investing in.

There are currently 12 operating data centers in city of St. Louis - the modified Armory Proposal actually pays its fair share of local taxes to schools / city. The closed loop coolant system is a much better advancement over draining water resources. Sound dampers on emergency backup generators are an improvement over BJC & CORTEX generators that have none.
Now those 12 other operating data centers … did they get TIFs & Abatements?

How can anyone expect the City to monitor them, and make sure they are in compliance when they can't even hold people accountable for the laws already in place in this city?! It's a joke to think they will be monitoring and policing these policies.
