Self-Sorting Recycling

Since recycling has now moved to certain points throughout the city, I think that those who are interested in recycling already are the ones who are taking their recycling to these special drop-off points.

Would it be a cost-saving measure to have residents self-sort our recycling? Such as one bin for paper, another for glass, etc? Other cities currently do this, such as Columbia, MO (pictured).
