Rebuilding effort with trade schools

The city should work to build a public/private partnership with area trade schools, construction companies, area schools of architecture, and existing programs such as Americorps and Habitat for Humanity to build a multi-discipline living classroom where the city could supply LRA properties to be rebuilt or new homes constructed on vacant parcels as part of a long term program to train individuals in home construction and repair, provide homes at reduced cost for low and middle income families, and ensure LRA properties are rebuilt in a quick manner before they fall into disrepair and become a danger to the community.
