No new data centers

From "Data Centers"

Go to the project

St Louis citizens have made it abundantly clear that we don't support the construction of these new AI data centers. Why do our elected officials insist on doing the opposite? Our fragile infrastructure of our utilities isn't equipped to handle the resources needed for these. You're actively making the lives of the citizens of this city worse.

It's actually making th3e lives of school children much better by providing $25,000,000 a year for schools. It also provides over $15,000,000 a year for our general fund which is desperately needed.

@John Parker I don't begrudge you having a price, but it is good to also have a clear understanding of what you are selling. The schools are not related to the data center. That means that gift is intended as compensation for other, related allowances.

@Patrick Cuba that makes zero sense. You simply need to have a basic understanding of how city budgets work in order to understand what I am saying. If you don't understand how city budgets work, I highly recommend that you research how schools get their money.

@John Parker Thanks for educating me. I retract my criticism and I will investigate school funding.
