Fix 911 system
From "Ideas Portal"

Fixing 911 should be the number one priority for the city. I can't believe you could have a heart attack or have a branch fall on you and not be able to reach a 911 operator. Nothing could be more important.

I agree as well. A city that is not safe is a city that will not prosper.

Why is this taking so long?
How are you verifying whether respondents are city residents?

I agree, They also do not respond in other ways. I have called 911 and reported gunshots. I have had to do repeat calls for the same issue of hearing gunshots. I answers all pertinent questions they ask. Concerning location etc. If the police came, "a dog came."
My daughter found bullet casing still in the alley. The next morning after, in our alley behind our home.
This is scene of where the shooting occurred. It seems the police would have removed the bullet casing for evidence.
As a concerned citizen you are told to make calls. Why would they not respond. I have called and reported death in my neighborhood, They took their slow time responding to that. It has got to be an answer to this problem. Covid-19 does not have to do with everything, this Lack of service started before covid. And has only gotten worse. This does have a solution. Pay the workers, increase the salaries for dedicated workers. Get rid of the lazy people on city jobs that are lingering around waiting for retirement and not giving the service needed to make this city a better place to live.
