Great to Use Eminent Domain re Paul McKee’s properties near the Geospatial Center. Past due!!
Policy statement—-time to sell the Water Division to a private operator. It should be conditioned on $xxxx being spent on the plant and distribution center. Water officials would know what is needed. On line sources indicate STL would receive in the hundreds of millions. Require a 2 year rate freeze, but water is the oil equivalent in STL, so we not only fix the system, but make it a real asset for residents and businesses. When finalized, decisions about water will be financial, not political; and will not be governed by the lack of City resources. If 1/2 the money received the sale was kept in reserve; the City would have a cushion and the rainy day fund The other half could be used for worthy City projects and initiatives
