I'm not sure we need to worry about pay parity as it would seem that compared to other emergency services the City pays better. A single 911 center and a single pay structure for all 911 services is what is needed.

911 dispatchers ARE the first responders to aid victims. Their stressful job requires updated technology and a decent salary. There should be no excuse for long waits, dropped calls or calls unanswered.
